We at The Citizens Bank strive to be an active force for community involvement and volunteering. As an organization, we set up volunteer events approximately once a month where we dig in and work to get our hands dirty. Aside from that, we offer sponsorship and support to various groups and organizations around our service area. We truly are “Your Community Bank.”
Citizens Bank’s Howloween Walk was a partnership between the bank and the Humane Society of Hocking County. The bank organized and hosted the walk with all proceeds benefiting the Hocking County Humane Society. #tcbolcares
Citizens Bank entered a team in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s held in The Plains. Team Citizens Bank raised $215 for the cause. #tcbolcares
Citizens Bank mascot Puddles the Duck held a party recently for kids with savings accounts. Earlier in the year, letters containing pumpkin seeds were sent to Puddles account holders, along with planting instructions. The kids were invited in to the bank to show off their produce for a chance to win a prize. #tcbolcares
The Citizens Bank recently donated 288 pounds of food to the Southeast Ohio Food Bank just in time for Thanksgiving. The bank’s food drive kicked off at their 10th annual Shred Day event held in September. #tcbolcares
The Citizens Bank was the presenting sponsor for the second annual Backyard BBQ. The event showcased a classic car show, ribs, hotdogs, and burgers, and several bands, including 7 Bridges, an Eagles tribute band. The large crowd featured visitors from as far away as Tennessee.

The Citizens Bank hosted Hotdogs on the Porch at The Main to raise money for Relay for Life. The event raised $500 for the cause.
Citizens Bank President & CEO Dan Fischer and several employees were on hand at the recent dedication of the Hunter family’s new home. The bank sponsored the recent build with Habitat for Humanity of Southeast Ohio, as well as sending many employees to help with the build along the way.
The Citizens Bank sent another group of volunteers to the Southeastern Ohio Food Bank to help pack commodities boxes once again.
